Stone Quern is our first Belgian Quadrupel, brewed in collaboration with the Dingemans family, professional maltsters. To elevate this beer beyond the ordinary, we opted for a quadruple mash—1.2 kg of malt per liter. The result is a deep, ruby-red base whose flavor comes directly from the grain and technique, not from added extras. A blend of four caramel malts forms the foundation, with Special-B® standing out with its rich caramel sweetness and raisiny depth reminiscent of classic abbey beers. Rye, oats, and wheat round it out with smoothness and body, making every sip powerful yet silky smooth. Full of caramel, raisins, and toasted grain—proof that you don't need additives when you take old-fashioned brewing to the extreme.
