A Dutch-American India Pale Ale? That doesn't sound confusing at all. We only used hops grown on Dutch soil, namely Cascade and Centennial, made by our friends at Branbant Hop. Because wine snobs can talk endlessly about the terroir of a particular grape, we brewers can do the same with hops. Different soil, different flavor and aroma profile. But since the plant is still genetically the same as the American-grown Cascade, we can still call it Cascade. Get it? Fine. Drink up.
