Kees Hundred 10 Years | Imperial Stout

In December 2017, we brewed a collaboration with the Spanish brewery La Pirata. This turned out to be a brilliant, thick stout. When we asked our fans which beer we would re-release for our 10th anniversary, the Hundred was often mentioned.

Fun fact: the origin of this beer's name. When we sat down with La Pirata to come up with a name, it turned out this was the 100th brew of 2017. Sometimes it can be that simple.

This thick, full-bodied stout is brewed with plenty of dark malt, oats, and muscovado sugar. At 12% ABV, it's a truly leisurely beer to savor. It has dark notes of coffee, licorice, molasses, and caramel on the palate, and a deliciously creamy finish. A worthy beer to celebrate our 10th anniversary with.
