De Kromme Herring Bora | BA Saison

The complexity of a good barrel-aged saison is the product of time, wood, and (wild) yeasts. It's one of our favorite beer styles. Bora I is the first barrel-aged release dedicated to these beers.

Bora is a fish (a flathead mullet, to be precise). It's also a tribute to the forgotten medieval revolutionary Katherina von Bora, who escaped from her convent in a herringbone to join the Reformation.
