Tommie Sjef Sprong | Wild Ale

Spróng is a blend of wild ales, aged from six months to four years, with Sicilian sage. For this vintage, we sought to enhance the sage's herbal qualities, along with a fresh, lively, yet distinctive blend of various oak puncheons (500 and 400 liters) and a rustic saison.
The nose reveals spicy aromas of fresh sage, oak, bergamot peel, green jasmine tea, and even a subtle hint of mint. On the palate, the sage is well-integrated and complements the beer's lemony, earthy, and funky notes. The acidity is balanced and not overpowering, which perfectly suits the Spróng. The beer has a clean and refreshing finish that invites another sip.
