Kees Mad About Hops HBC630 | American IPA

Mad About Hops HBC 630 is a delightfully refreshing Single Hop IPA with 7% alcohol, featuring a rich aroma palette of hops. You'll recognize notes of tropical fruit, pine, citrus, and even red fruits like raspberry and cherry.

This is the third installment in our Mad About Hops series. For this Single Hop IPA, we've chosen the experimental hop variety HBC 630. The hops come from the Hop Breeding Company (HBC), a partnership between John I. Haas and Yakima Chief Ranches, two major American hop growers. HBC strives to develop new hop varieties.

Before a new hop variety is officially released, select brewers can sample it. The provisional name for such a hop begins with the abbreviation HBC, followed by a number. Once officially released, it will receive its final name. We're very impressed with this hop, so we expect to see it on the market in the future, but with a fitting name.

Like its predecessors, this beer comes in a large 44cl can. Ideal for enjoying alone or sharing.
